DUBLIN – Bellator continues to gain a foothold in Europe, and the promotion announced another event in the region that takes place Nov. 23 in London.

Bellator officials today announced that Bellator Europe 6 takes place at The SSE Arena, Wembley, and will include a key matchup between undefeated middleweight prospect Fabian Edwards (8-0 MMA, 4-0 BMMA) and fellow Brit Mike Shipman (13-2 MMA, 4-1 BMMA).

An additional main card matchup between lightweights Terry Brazier (11-2 MMA, 1-1 BMMA) and promotional newcomer Soren Bak (12-1 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) was also announced for the card.

The event streams live in the U.S. on MMA Junkie.

Bellator Europe 4 takes place Friday at 3Arena in Dublin, while Bellator Europe 5 is set for Allianz Cloud in Milan on Oct. 12.

Edwards, the younger brother of top UFC welterweight contender Leon Edwards, is perfect through the first eight contests of his pro career. “The Assassin” fought most recently in June, taking a decision win over Jonathan Bosuku. While that contest didn’t thrill, Edwards does have six stoppage wins to his credit, including five in the first round.

Meanwhile, Shipman looks to rebound from a TKO loss to Costello van Steenis, a result that also took place at June’s Bellator 223, where Edwards was victorious. For Shipman, the loss snapped a 13-fight winning streak, marking the first setback for “Seabass” since his pro debut.

The Bellator Europe 6 lineup currently includes:

MAIN CARD (MMA Junkie)

  • Fabian Edwards vs. Mike Shipman
  • Terry Brazier vs. Soren Bak

PRELIMINARY CARD (MMA Junkie)
